I've got a feeling about Tony, for some reason.
Antonio McDyess (Pistons) 75-1
Ben Wallace (Pistons) 20-1
Brent Barry (Spurs) 100-1
Bruce Bowen (Spurs) 50-1
Chauncey Billups (Pistons) 12-1
Lindsey Hunter (Pistons) 100-1
Manu Ginobili (Spurs) 3-1
Nazr Mohammed (Spurs) 150-1
Rasheed Wallace (Pistons) 12-1
Richard Hamilton (Pistons) 8-1
Robert Horry (Spurs) 75-1
Tayshaun Prince (Pistons) 15-1
Tim Duncan (Spurs) 6-5
Tony Parker (Spurs) 7-1
xx Field (Any Other Player) 25-1
Interesting that the top 3 favs are all Spurs.
I've got a feeling about Tony, for some reason.
Man, no love for Nazr. I think he'll take this as motivation and really come out firing. And given Horry's propensity for coming up big I kind of figured that his odds might be a little better, coming off the bench or not.

I am thinking about betting on the UNDER on Rip Hamilton.
I think Bruce will shut him down tonight.
I am betting the farm on the OVER on Nazr though....he will get some dunks tonight because of all the attention on TD.

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just coz I bothered to write it for posterity, here's my take on-the-fly:
I have been following the Spurs since 1990, through the era of the great philanthropist-Renaissance Man-athlete David Robinson, One-Kidney Sean Elliot, and the Little General Avery Johnson, and now into the era of the best power forward ever to play the game, Mr Consistency Tim Duncan, the French Terror Tony Parker, and Leftie Magic Manuuuuuu Ginobili.
I put my whole life aside and saw 13 games in San Antonio late in the 2003 Championship run. I plan to suspend my whole life again and go back again next year or the one after.
I bleed black and silver.
I am a Spur.
And they are back in the finals once again, a sight that will become monotonous until the end of the decade, to face the wrecking ball defending champion Detroit Pistons with their all-for-one, team-ball ethic and monster defence. It should be a fascinating, if gruesome, series.
Billups v Parker - even. Speed v strength. Parker having his best season yet. Billups a big-play maker. Maybe the key to the series.
Rip v Manu - slight edge Spurs. Jumpshooter extraordinaire v slasher lightning-rod. Rip is excellent at what he does, but somewhat one-dimensional and not half the defender Manu is. Manu is on a mission from God, averaging 21/6/5 for the playoffs. He is now the preferred last-shot option over TD. If Manu continues to be unstoppable, the Spurs win the series, whatever Rip does.
Prince v Bowen - edge Pistons. Both excellent defenders, these guys will guard Manu and Rip for a lot of the time. Prince is a better offensive player, but Bowen can stick the corner three.
Rasheed v Timmah - edge Spurs. Not flashy, but simply the best big man in the game, Duncan always does what needs to be done to win. Sometimes fragile at the line, that might cost the Spurs a win during the series, but so will Shees's volatile temper. Sheed defends TD better than anyone. SHould be an excellent matchup.
Wallace v Mohammed - edge Pistons. Ben Wallace is an excellent defender and rebounder, but he will be surprised by Nazr's physical presence (averageing 8/7 in only 23 mins in the playoffs). Ben must have an excellent series for the Pistons to win.
BENCH. McDyess/Campbell/Hunter/Arroyo v Horry/Nesterovic/Massenberg/GRobinson/Barry/Udrih - edge Spurs. Brown hardly uses his bench, while the Spurs have consistently had the best bench in the league (along with Memphis) all year. McDyess is solid but can't stop TD, Campbell is there for 6 fouls. Hunter is a stopper, and Arroyo there for energy. Horry has been in killer form, nailing daggers and doing the intangibles. Nesterovic is a good team defender. Massenburg might be used to rough up Sheed for a few minutes. Glenn Robinson could see more minutes as a shooter/spacer for TD, and to push Prince around. Barry hit 11/20 from 3 against the Suns. Udrih is an up-and-down rookie.
Coaching and intangibles - even. Both great coaches, both have the faith of their players and make adjustments well. Both squads are battle-tested.
Summary - the frontcourts basically cancel out, leaving the backcourts the key to this series. If the Spurs can make their FTs they should edge the Pistons in a tightly fought 6 games.
So there's my take.
To finish...
GOOOOOOOOOOOOO SPUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRSSSSSSSSS GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!![]()
LET'S ROLL!!!!
A televised moment of silence. Way to go.
