Just saying you don't know the situation with Timmy...I don't know much about AD...but Timmy might have been in a hurry and had something to do. He's a great guy in the community and is one of the few superstars in the league that will sign autographs when asked.

Duncan does enough around the community as it is. To change your opinion of him because he didn't give you what you wanted isn't really fair to him. I don't think the fact that he is a millionaire has anything to do with what happened. Yes...you mentioned they were kids. Tim Duncan does a lot in our community for children...a LOT..as I notated earlier. Sometimes a guy just wants a little personal time...a little space. For everything he's done in the community and on the court for this city, he's earned it.
By any chance, were those kids wearing Bonner jerseys?
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate Duncan, wouldnt mention it if it wasnt bothersome, but it was. Been a fan since the ABA/NBA merger, so I was still cheering for the Spurs. But once I accepted that Gasol was too much, I cant lie, I had a litle satisfaction

I remember watching NBA TV in 2005 or so at the all star game fan weekend. Duncan was signing jerseys for kids left and right.. He is hardly an asshole when it comes to that stuff..
Antonio Daniels hasn't worn the Black and Silver in almost a decade. I believe the Spurs traded him in the summer of 2002 after he handed the starting PG spot that Pop gave him to TP the previous fall. Back when security would let you, you could go down to the tunnel where the Spurs came out, and Manu, Tony, Tim, and Bruce etc...would sign autographs for everyone on their way back into the locker room after warmups before the game.
People don't understand that outside of the basketball environment, players are just people. Tim gets sent to pick up a gallon of milk or some ingredient for dinner, or to pick up his kids at soccer practice just like anyone else. He has to be home on time, or just like Joe Schmo, there will be to pay. Stop being a cheap ass, and go to a game with lower level seats, get there early for a wristband, and get an autograph in the right environment.

Maybe it was a horrible day and maybe he had something else going on at the time in his mind? Maybe he wanted some space. He could sign autographs for 9 days and on the 10th he doesn't so he is a jerk? Get a grip he is HUMAN.
I have bad days as well and act out of character or am not as nice as others, guess me and others are a jerk as well? Relax, it is not that serious he is a good dude and obviously had his own reasons. I have heard such and such athlete is an ass and the next person or so will say they are cool as ! Depends on the day and so on.
