I believe teams that are no longer playing may trade with each other... someone can correct me if I'm wrong
...'cause I know it's possible during draft time...but not till the finals are ended.
Anyone knows if tehre is a specific date ?
I believe teams that are no longer playing may trade with each other... someone can correct me if I'm wrong
thet's why I was asking...it looks to me a big disadvantage for teams that are still playing...so I thought that for any trade every team just have to wait at least for the ending of the games played...
Rules change, but last time I checked, this was true.
In theory, all the teams except Mavs and Heat can do trades right now.
In practice, very few trades happen during that period. There should have less than 1 trade per year between the end of the season and a couple of days before the draft. Some teams won't wait until the draft night to make their first move. Doing a trade 2 or 3 days before the draft allows teams to quietly re-assess their situation and do another trade during the draft.
If spurs are going to do any trades I would hope it would all be done during the off-season so Pop can't use his " They missed training camp" excuses when he does not play them.
Also, with the new CBA still up in the air, I sincerely doubt teams are going to make any considerable moves until they have a blueprint to follow.
