I used to get that they put out magazine for free.
Someone has to give Spectrum a run for their money. Once it changed over to Spectrum, they raised their prices big time. We ended up quitting because of that.
Anyone else get the fliers for this place? Opens up in early 06 in the 281/1604 area.
Looks nice...I'm wondering how they'll rape you on fee changes, though. Spectrum at Rogers Ranch has to be hating this.

I was looking at the prices in the flier, and it said something like 49/mo...not too bad, very comparable to Spectrum (I go to the regular ones, not the fancy/expensive one). Then I looked online and see it's 49/mo, only if you want it for gym/fitness....but it's 59/mo if you want to use the courts (basketball/racquetball). At least that's what I understand it to be.
Bait and switch.
Holy man! This will have to be the best fitness center san antonio's ever had! I bet it'll come with a fine price though.
Do what I did. Buy some equipment, put it in the garage, never pay fees again!
The guy that owns these, is I think Ron Hemelgarn.
He owns an indy car team driven by Jimmy Kite.
The dude is a really nice guy, richer than F, but a fantasticly nice guy.
It looks pretty nice for the price. I hope I'm already in shape by the time they open that thing though.![]()
That's pretty awesome. We might sign up. Those basketball courts look cool. We belong to Home Court America -- we thought about signing up for Spectrum awhile back and didn't do it. This one looks sweet for the price.
We got a flier last night.. it looks really cool.. If I can convince hubby that I'll actually use my membership, he might let me sign up..
It looks nice, but it's too far away to be convenient for me. Not convenient = wouldn't go.
And since I already paid off my Ballys and all I have to pay until I die is a $7/mo maintenance fee, looks like I'm staying there.
