be an underachiever imho, although he won a ring this season he was no more than a bench-warmer throughout their championship run. could've contributed something to this team imho, be underused to some extent.

Dude needs to learn how to play the game some more. He's got talent but needs to utilize it more.
why is it extraordinary/hard to believe that "all of that" happened in the same season?
the guy in 8 minutes turned the Mavs season around in that game 1 vs the Lakers, without Carlisle completely pulling this out of his ass they wouldn't have gotten the confidence to beat LA without Brewer's hustle and play during that stretch
