So I go into Taco Cabana today, wanting my favorite lunch, a burrito ultimo.
Today is the day they have changed up the entire concept of the burrito so you can customize it.

It's a ing five step process, with 2-6 options per step to get a god-damned burrito.
I do not go into a fast food place to write a 10 page thesis on what my burrito should be.
Make me a burrito, put some meat, beans rice and stuff in it, and that is good enough for me.
Chicken or beef, that is all the choice I care about.
/rant.

If it's any consolation, I drove up to my local TC's about 3 weeks ago and was confronted with the same challenge for a Cabana bowl.

I was already hungry when I drove up, and was about to gnaw my hand off as I exited.
Distance/time.
I don't mind it when I go in expecting it. That's good.
But when I go into TC, I want "chicken or beef"? Bam! Order done!

Chipotle burritos are 90% rice.
90% is quite the stretch, they make them pretty sexual at the one a block away from me. they are ing awesome.
What about Cha Cho's. Mesquite beef fajita burrito, no sour cream. Done.
I know what you mean. If you're expecting options, then building it is not a big deal. But when you're expecting it to be a simple process and all of a sudden you need a scan tron just to figure out what you're ing eating, then we have issues.
Were you by yourself? Should have gone inside instead of the drive thru.

Chipotle sucks major compared to freebirds. There really is no comparison, especially now that free birds has cilantro rice now
I've never been to Freebirds. I really should make the trek. I think there's one close to where I live. Yep, just checked, Huebner and I-10, just as I thought.
Is that the dish they call "huevos mexicanos"?

never heard of this freebirds place, probably not many if any in the NE/mid atlantic region...and i didn't really know about chipotle until a couple of years ago but goddamn i love that place.
