maybe in a few years. I wanted Spurs to compete on Duncan's last season.

Exactly how i feel....these guys are so homer...they dont even look at whats best for the spurs, but whats best for the their own feelings...Leonard was said to be a top defender....and will flourish in the spurs system....yea, no one wants to see George hill go, but to be honest, he is expendable....not alot of guys can replace Tony Parker...Gary Neal can pick up George Hills points and he likes to play D as well...Corey joseph will be a project but we'll see how that goes.....All in all, man up...its a business and the spurs are one of the best, if not the best in the game at making decisions....Its not like they totally put George Hill in a bad spot, i mean he gets to go home and play for his home crowd and potentially start and make alot more money! now thats what a spurs squad will do for you!!

how do you figure? defense hasn't been the name of the game for the spurs org in more than a few yrs now. defense went out the door a long time ago.

Seriously. The sudden hype he's gotten since the announced trade has left me dumbfounded.
I think there's a few explanations for this. One BSPN ing confuses him with Popp half the time. Last night was the second time I've heard George Poppovich. Two, George's stats as a starter (55 games/3 years) is something like 15 ppg and 4 apg. However, I'm pretty sure that was when the Spurs ended up being a 7th seed + there was the occasional Memphis game where he went for 30 points on almost perfect shooting. He can score but as we know, George can't dribble under pressure or set anyone up. He can knock down the corner three and create his own shot. Lastly, the rumors of Parker being traded seemed to boost Hill's value. Parker was originally valued at 7-10. Hill was supposedly being shopped for 10-15.
