Not a bad move for the Lakers with his ability to hit the open shot but athletically the Lakers are one of the least in the league. Should go after a guard....Point especially
Pietrus and Kobe in the backcourt would be awesome...

“A lot of teams are interested in me, like the Lakers or the Celtics,” said Pietrus. “This came from the best player in the world: Kobe Bryant. He told me two months ago that he would like to see me with the Lakers.”

I've wanted this guy on the Hornets since 2006. Pietrus/Belinelli--former teammate in GS...I'll take it. He's got a player option of over 5.3 million though and I doubt he opts out unless he's getting a really great offer elsewhere.
they need another s.brown![]()
Unlike Matty Bricks who blows everywhere he plays, Pietrus would thrive on a team that actually has a presence that can get shooters open shots. Not sure about Boston, but he'd be a great fit as LA's backup SF.
I'm calling it right now, Babby trades for yet another former client who he got a bloated contract (Luke Walton).
i'd like to have this on my fantasy team anytime tbh. playing tough D and shooting decent 3, plus hes more of a big time player then most other s.
Injury prone, bad shot selection, not afraid to whine, 29 years old, but does play some defense and is athletic. Not a bad bench player but not that good either imo
another that cant make a 3, but he tries on defense, and given his athletecism its a welcome addition. not a poor mans but a middle class' tony allen.
I like him as a backup at both the 2 and 3 ...
I see why the celts want him especially to block us ...but they just drafted a young wing player and have Jeff Green so they have even less SF mins. available than the Lakers do ...
DJ, Pietrus can hit 3's ...he kinda streaky like artest and barnes though ...
thats why i said he cant make 3s. our guys bricked them last i remember
tbh Pietrus is a world class re . If he had a high BBall IQ he could be a great role player but he has a Saer Sene/Dasagana Diop level feel for the game.
Um? He can make 3's, you idiot.
I totally agree. He would be a great fit on the Hornets especially instead of that piece of Trevor Ariza.
should be fighting over a pg that will replace oldman fisher
above average defender, average shooter, very low BBIQ.
