I want Duncan to win the MVP, because without him the Pistons would be dominating us in the paint on both ends and we would have no rebounding.

Plus that cements him as the best powerforward ever. That said, not many. None actually.

Let's win the Finals first, we can sort out the hardware after that.

Let's win game 3 first. I like the optimism and all, but we've been up 2-0 before.
In 58 years, only two teams have ever come back from 0-2, and I'd be willing to bet that both were before the 2-3-2 format. I don't think we'll sweep, but at this point, barring any injuries, even coming back 3-2 puts us back in a building where detroit has played 2 OK quarters and 6 awful ones.

Worthy and Magic and Kareem, to answer the original question.

Dumars and Zeke not long after.

The original question asked how many "current" teams have 2 Finals MVPs. Since you went back to the past didn't the Pistons also accomplish this feat with Joe Dumars and Isaiah Thomas?

Edit: I saw you added Thomas and Dumars while I was responding lol.

Yes. Dumars won their first championship year, Isiah Thomas the next.

Or I could have gotten that backwards.

    Actually it was "current MVPs."

There are only three "current" players who are MVPs at all.

    I'm speechless...

I've never seen someone score 27 points off 8 shots before!!

That kind of efficiency is crazy!

Hey stats people (i.e. Rick VB?) has Manu's efficiency rating in the playoffs broken any records yet, based on the number of shots taken?

I don't remember Kobe/Jordan having this kind of efficiency... if shooting <10 times.

    GO MANUUU

Unless Manu get's hurt he's gonna win MVP.

I bet Duncan will call the Commish on the cell and tell him who to give it too..

Manu shouldn't win MVP even if he's leading scoring..

Tim Duncan was always the MVP of the playoffs, he deserves it.
