on KSAT interview he says "we havent see anything close to this kinda defense"
I called it and said that the comparisons between Detroit and SA are false.
No way detroit and the their leastern conference foes compare to SA's defense!

It should be pretty obvious to everyone. The Spurs play the best D in the league in the toughest conference. However, all you hear about is how tough Detroit plays D.
If you go stats it's close. But if you consider the opponents of each team you realize that sa is superior.
Spurs D> Piston D.

Detroit is scared now and it's so obvious, it is sad. I really believe we're gonna take the next two in Detroit, this team is on a steam roll now and they're not gonna stop till they run out of track. Go SPURS GO

thats just the reality of it....detroit and miami would probably be the only ones outta of the east if the playoffs allowed for the best 16 teams in the nba!

Their defense is as good as ours or very close to it...it's their offense that isn't as good. It's the offense that's the difference in this series.
They have players that can nearly match the defensive talent on our team and they play it just as hard...
But they don't have anyone in the paint that can come close to doing what Duncan can do...and they don't have Manu either. They can't put pressure on our D like we can on theirs. They have literally no inside scoring game except for the occasional big game by Sheed, and he likes playing outside more than inside.

i haven't seen much of detroit's defense..aside from the playoffs..but in the last two games..
there's no way they are the same or close to the same when it comes to defense.
imo detroit was slow on their rotations.slow to get the loose balls....confused as to who to guard who...again imo...
