Haven't visited in a bit. I'm fresh off of a convention (AAPM) in Vancouver. Gorgeous as always. If you haven't been, you're definitely missing out. Stanley Park and the windmill (forgot the name) on top of the mountain are "must see's/do's".

Failing to click on the link is fail. Only the near side of the moon is like a cueball. It was the weirdness/iregularity of the dark side that led to the theory.
someone still needs to explain why all the planets in the universe are sphere shaped only...all i know when 2 objects collide they dont become a sphere shape...

then believing in two moons should not be a problem.

Mouse, things change with scale. I don't know if the article has merit or not, but if two moons existed and became one, gravitational attraction favors a sphere, just like all other moon to planet sized objects are.

I forget the movie name, but there was a late 60's maybe early 70's movie, where an astronaut went to a planet on the opposite side of the sun in the same orbit the earth is in. Anyway, once he got there, everyone thought he failed his mission. Thing is, he completed it. Everything was backwards, there was a mirrored earth on the other side of the sun!What if there was another Earth?
