    I just don't see how fellow Spur fan could be so grim.

    For what it's worth, we didn't have the best regular season record for most of the season for no reason. Sure, the Grizzlies got us in the first round, but only because that was the worst possible match-up for the Spurs, youth size & athleticism unparalleled by any other team besides OKC.

    The Spurs are still very much contenders, not to mention they just acquired what could be a superstar small forward given time. & we've still yet to see what Splitter can get done with proper training camp, and good minutes. Also, Neal is fantastic, and will only get better. & we still have two more prospects in James Anderson and Da'Sean Butler.

    It's called August + Lockout.

    It would be pretty dead around here normally anyways, but with the lockout, there not even any player movement or summer league or anything. Once people run out of things to discuss about the CBA, what is there to talk about?

    That's just terrible. I hope it's not his last season. The best thing that's ever happened to Spurs. But we still have one of the most incredible front offices, far surpassing any other teams. We'll be okay, and find the next franchise player.
