Will we see it in 2012 if the lock-out stands?

    This is my fear.

We'll know shortly after it ends. If Tony's shipped out, now that Hill is already gone, Timmy ain't coming back. There doesn't need to be an announcement or press release.

Couldn't blame him if he was gone, there'd be a grip of veterans who prolly wouldn't have any interest on coming back after missing a whole season.

My thoughts. He'd probably just enjoy the year off and come back.

    I think it's probably 50/50.

Sure, if there is a lockout, Tim will enjoy the year off and get plenty of rest. Could come back invigorated for another season or two to ride off into the sunset.

Or, he could let himself get comfy during the lockout, then decide that he's had his time and forego trying to get back in shape and jump back into the grind. Even if he does come back, Tim's not getting any younger; the difference between this year and next year could be pretty significant in terms of what he can provide on the court. Really would be a bummer to lose one of the last productive seasons of the greatest PF of all time.

I see Timmy coming back for another season. Actually, I think he may even sign a two year contract for vet minimum after this one expires.

I doubt it. If he can pull 20 mil by hanging around, why leave? I would pitch a tent outside Holt's Cat dealership and wait him out.
