He plays a lot better at home,so hopefully he will show up there.
What the happened to the great prince? He couldn't hit a jumper, looked intimidated when he drove to the hoop. He looked like a turnstyle on d. He added nothing to this game.
Here are his stats:
33min 1-7fg 3pts 3reb 0ass 1to 0stl 1blk
I was expecting more from him. Heck I was expecting more from the pistons.
He plays a lot better at home,so hopefully he will show up there.
I wasn't expecting him to be the offensive monster that a lot of people thought he could be posting up against Ginobili but I thought he'd show more than this. He just looks kind of deer in the headlights out there. What really worried me was that his length would negate Ginobili's speed advantage, and that has certainly not been the case.
If they used his length right, then it could be problems for Ginobili. As it is, he is not getting good entry passes or he is getting the ball in the post too late and doesnt have enough time to back Ginobili down.
Imho, the Whole Pistons team has just been held in check not one 3 pointer from them. Either they can play better than that or the Spurs are just that good. Not one person has provided a spark for them. Im not even saying sweep, but we have just dominated them and they just have not shown up yet.
They will be good at home, be warry of victory letdown syndrom.
Every series in these playoffs they have had one bad game so
I expect that this series to be either Tues. or Thurs.
hopefully Spurs in 5 after one bad game.
AGREE, and like I read early in another post a perfect fathers day gift.
Imagine NBA scouts considering Prince:
"He's a of a player! ... when he plays at home!"![]()
He is a normally a great home player and a good road player, I dont know where he has been the last 10 games or so.
Prince has the potential to be a great NBA player, not only defensively but offensively. I don't understand why he doesn't doesn't average more points and/or lock down more of his opponents with his length. Pistons are not ultizing him to the best of their advantage.
I was expecting him to put up 12ppg 5rpg 5apg 2.4bpg in this series. He and det have looked awful this series and last series.
I thought this was going to be about the halftime show.
"This is what it sounds like, when Det-roit cries."
judging from last night it doen'st help playing in foul trouble, Some of th calls against him in the first half it looked like he breathed on people.
If he was as good as advertised, he would have found a way to fight through the calls and still put up decent numbers.
No excuses.
Hilarious.
Maybe he has turned into the player formerly known as Prince.
Maybe he has turned into the player formerly known as Prince.
LMAO!!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!
He just ran into some great spurs defense. If he puts the ball on the floor the spurs take it away. The spurs were just relentless on defense.
larry brown is a terrrible coach
he does not work with prince because he has only been in the nba 3 year
Three problems Prince has had thusfar:
1) Foul trouble
2) Hard and instantaneous doubles from the weakside "big" when he posts up
3) Unable to shoot from "his" spots of comfort on the floor
He is unable to change directions quickly and doesn't have many dribble moves to the basket. His offensive game is average and not any better. If you leave him open long enough he will make those 3's but San Antonio doesn't allow that.
That's kinda what I was thinking. He's good when a couple of guys are gettin off. But he's limited offensively and with the spurs speed he just can't get too many open looks or drives to the hoop.
