HP already announced they're not going to make them anymore. Not sure you want to be stuck with an unsupported product, tbh.
Now I just have to get one.

Unsupported or not 99 dollars is dirt cheap.
I heard it's pretty ty + it's not even Android. Are there even apps for that thing?
It's live now. Just got one off HP.com
There's a coupon code and it came out to $85 before tax + free shipping
16 gig sold out just got 32 gig + pack of paper $133.10 shipped use code save30hp on $150 or more order
Hopefully they can port Android to this.
same hardware, it should take a little work to get the drivers for the radios, etc. but it should work. I am going to get one for my wife, and I may just get one for myself too.
If you can install Android, then I agree it's a great deal.
This thing will get hacked no doubt.
bought the 32 GB one for my wife... used the 30 dollar off coupon code for it "save30hp" total after tax was 136.00 (I also got a pack of paper because the coupon was for 30 dollars off of 150 or more, the 32 gb one is 149.99)
It happened RIGHT after I ordered mine. I called my friend to see if he wanted one, he said yes, I tried to order another one, out of stock. I am going to go to BB tomorrow to pick one up for myself (and my friend and his brother for a fee).
Tempted to pick up a 99 dollar one if they have them at BB here. If Android gets ported then that would be AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING.
I'm going to try to buy one tomorrow based on nothing more than that tweet. LOL
yeah that sealed it for me
Office depot has ad for discounted price on home page u may need to refresh a few times but u click ad price is not adjusted I ordered 2 took screenshot and chose pickup and pay cash hopefullynthey honor the banner price
I clicked on his twitter feed, he said they are going to port honeycomb to it..... Word
I passed this on, thanks
Office depot has it for 129 from what I can see. 30 dollars too much. Still not updated - so fairly annoyed. But then again don't they have a price match guarntee?
Best buy isn't going to drop price, they are sending back to HP, so keep an eye on the website... For those on the west coast, Office depot is selling them for the firesale price... so get your ass out of bed and get there. For everyone else, it is probably too late.
I hear some people had success at Walmart and that Staples will drop the price on Tuesday, basically YMMV.
Seems like such a hassle, glad i was able to get one online.![]()

Tempted by the promise of a $99 TouchPad, in spite of its imminent demise? Well, it looks like American Best Buys won't be enjoying the same liquidation sale as our neighbors to the north. A couple of tipsters have reported that the big box electronics retailer has pulled the webOS tablets from its shelves and is shipping them back to HP. The slates have also disappeared from Best Buy's website, though you can buy $30 screen protectors for one. You can still try to score one on the cheap straight from HP, but both the 16GB and 32GB models are currently listed as out of stock. Don't get upset if you already plunked down $400 for 10-inches of webOS goodness -- HP will refund you the difference. Call up the company or the retail partner you purchased it from, and ask. Just be prepared to sit on hold with all the rest of the folks trying to get their cash back.
No luck here - I am tempted to buy one full pricce through some of the Amazon affiliates but I want to be 100% sure HP will refund the difference.
