Article on TSA on edge today. Here's an excerpt.
In a third incident, a carry-on bag at Kansas City International Airport caused a security guard at a checkpoint to be concerned, said airport spokesman Joe McBride.
A man was uncooperative when asked if if the bag could be searched and was subsequently detained, McBride said.
Terminal B was closed and evacuated abut 9:30 a.m., and a bomb squad was brought in. The squad used water hoses to open and inspect all of the man's bags, including those that were checked, McBride said. The terminal reopened by 2 p.m.

NPR had story about a greeter at Mall of America who made a joke about a overflowing trashcan, something like "somebody needs to go nuclear on Satan's trashcan". (MOA is loved by the security people because it's huge traffic is such a great terrorist target.}
somebody reported him, MOA mgmt calls him in, two weeks later he's fired.
the comment was reported to the local police who "fusioned" it up to the FBI, who visited the guy in his home, more than once, IIRC. He was labelled "potential violent threat".
Who knows what kind of watch lists he's on, how his name pops up in potential employers' searches for background checks.
2 years later, he's still looking for a job.
