Honest question
Why are they starting Harris again? It seems like he is terrible and from what I saw the other QB looked better imho. I don't watch a ton of Miami games so maybe my observations are way off base.
I don't know...truly have no idea. I can't think of another human being I hate more than him. I want him cut and subsequently lynched.

Have you seen Joe Bauserman play quarterback? At least Jacory Harris has physical talent. Bauserman should be playing at Mount Union or John Carroll. Seriously.

Braxton should see the field this Saturday especially since Hall is back. They had a lot of spread packages specifically with Braxton and Hall in the backfield that Drayton brought over from Florida that they ran during fall practice.but...but.... He's a senior!!!!
He should have started from game ing one. It would have been valuable for him to get some reps, experience and confidence against the cupcakes on the schedule. It's not like Bauserman did anything he couldn't do anyway. It is so pointless to play a QB who has always proven to be complete over a talented freshman who will continue to get better just because one is a senior.
They're going to keep Bauserman out there till he fails abjectly, imo. It'll take a Todd Boeckman-at-USC type fiasco to get Braxton Miller the majority of reps.

That is what you get when you hire a position coach. I like Fickell, but he is in way over his head with the HC job. Hopefully Braxton will be the starting QB next Sat, but somehow I think Joey B will still be the starting QB.
I've been watching Ohio State football since 1984 and Joe Bauserman is hands-down the worst quarterback I've ever seen in this program. Ever. He makes Steve Bellisari look like Peyton Manning.

He just has no business playing major-college football. I don't even think he'd be a very good MAC quarterback, tbh.
You are right, he does not. Fick has to just swallow the whistle and develop the freshmen and build for the future.
You guys were right--I had no idea how ing awful Bauserman is. This is definitely a pyrrhic victory for the U, since Jacory gets credited with the win despite being absolute dog and almost throwing a pick-6 in the 4th.
Those 2 QBs deserve each other.
