although I don't like 14 team conferences, it just further reduces inter-conference play.

It'll be four 16-team conferences, more than likely, and, I've heard, they'll pe ion the NCAA to get right of the ban on 4-team pods within the conferences. The basic conference play for football would be everybody plays everybody in their pod (3 games), then a 2/2/2 from the other pods (6 games) with each top team in the pods advancing to a two-game le series. This is what I've heard.
