Haven't even scene it. It made it's way to redbox pretty fast however
Maybe my expectations were too high. But it sucked. The only decent parts were the scenes involving the Frost Giants.

Yeah it was all ok at best, but only because of that Frost Giants scene.
Even though some of the jokes were OK, I thought it was a failure trying to incorporate comedy with Thor's trip to earth.
's on the line and Thor is wandering around getting drunk, making jokes, having breakfast. WTF kind of superhero is that.
And how ing ineffective was the giant robot with his fire ray. He should have torched them all.
I liked it. Maybe you have to understand more of the mythology involved. Saw it in 3D, I think the week it came out, in May.

Neither. The movie sucked. By far the weakest of the recent Avenger movies. And I didn't think Captian America was that great.
There were a thousand holes and disconnects. Starting from Thor's raid on the Frost Giants. His hammer had more than enough power to destroy all of them. He demonstrated as much. But then would seem to forget the most effective way to use it. He could have detroyed Jotunheim singlehandedly.
And we're to believe that the sense of humor of an ancient race of gods is pretty much the same as 2010 earthlings?

Super 8 and X men
Of the Summer's movies, I've only seen Captian America, Smurfs, First Class, and Thor. And Thor is tied with Smurfs for 3rd. I can't imagine Thor being better than Cowboys & Aliens, Super 8, Pirates, Rise of the Apes, Harry Potter, Cars 2, Transformers, and from what I hear, Fast Five. Did you only see three movies?
I didn't like how confined the movie felt, only showing bits of Asgard and Roswell.
It was entertaining enough though. Way better than Captain America, imo.
XMen was the best flick Ive seen all year.
