Enrolled my kids in Agora Cyber Charter School this year (paid for out of my local school district's coffers). 3 weeks in, so far VERY impressed with the curriculum (using k12). Sent me two computers, two printers, boxes and boxes of books. The textbooks are much more impressive than what was coming home from the local district. We'll see how it turns out.
Haven't studied the mysteries of electricity just yet, however.
Ironically, EM is mysterious... just not for any of the reasons they provided. They should have kept the "mystery" part and kiboshed the Ron Burgundy part.
You cannot teach anything that can logically call into question their fairy tales. I guess we should also forgo respiration in biology or enthalpy in chemistry for that matter or Jonah and Shadrach are out of the question.
I have alwyas loved the 'well you cannot feel it or hold it' argument from Christians. You really felt and held Samson's hair or Jesus' possession of pigs when you decided there was credence to those whoppers.
