First big test of the year for Houston. Let's see if that #1 ranked defense is ready to beat a real team.

If they pull this one off they'll be legit.

I'd be happy to see them not get blown out.

This. My concern is the offense is a bit overrated this year as Foster is not 100% healthy. Also, while the defense is improved, no way are they containing Brees. And I don't know if we can score enough points to keep up as Kubiak plays it too conservatively. Against the Saints, you MUST air it out. And until we get a legit #2 Wideout, I'm not gonna get too confident just yet.

Foster's value is overrated. Ben Tate's filled in fine with b2b 100-yd games. The Saints still have Roman Harper in their secondary, so they can definitely be beat over the top--as the Packer game proved. Another thing they have going for them is that the Saints running game has been pretty bad so far. Lance Moore and Marques Colston are out still, so just take away Henderson on the deep routes and key in on Graham and Meachem. All easier said than done

tbh I'm worried about starting Drew Brees in my fantasy team against this defense. Houston is looking legit.

Right...cause starting Mark Sanchez off your bench is a less worrisome move...

Yeah...I'm not worried about the run game. Tate is similar to Foster in running style(one cut and go) and he's stronger than Foster when he gets to the next level.

Two things will make or break Houston in this game...the ability of the pass rush to affect Brees and Matt Schaub's ability to make the throws when it matters.

Gonna come down to Schaub. He always tends to underthrow his recievers.

While i want it to be compe ive, I want the Texans to run the ball right down their throats. Then play action the out of them. Saints fans have become rightfully obnoxious since they won the SB, but they don't remember who it was that took them in. If you don't like the city you're in, go back to where you came from.

They certainly don't need to get in an air it out compe ion with Brees and Co. Run the ball, control the clock, work the TE's in play action.

I would truly love to win this game. Although if we have to lose a few games, it may as well be out of conference opponents.

Nice start. They are destroying them with the TE's and should continue to do so. Let's see if the D can do just as well.

Moving the ball with ease. That was a of a call on the pass to Casey.

Hou did a great job of keeping the ball out of Brees hands, with the run. We'll see if they can keep it up

Houston can themselves just fine. They don't need help from the refs.
