tbh the debate is still out there that Jacob's xanax usage might mean he's banned from the Hall Of Fame because of PED's.
If you are, I nominate Jacob1983.
No one, and I mean no one, states the obvious like he does. He elevates it to poetic and lyrical levels, and when you read him, you come away never looking at the obvious quite the same way again.
For example, when he stated the Texas Rangers needed a 5 game winning streak, he forever changed my perception of the importance of winning. From then on, I didn't see a win as just a win, but as a win. A kind of symbolic event with far reaching philosophical and spiritual implications that extend well beyond the surface reality and into the metaphysical. Before Jacob1983, I was a non-believer who when looking at a statue of Christ, would only see something man made and material. After him, I could now see God beneath the plaster and paint.
For anyone experiencing an existential or religious crisis, please, read Jacob1983. You'll find comfort and meaning, and in 2000 years from now, I wouldn't be surprised if his words on Spurstalk become the Word of God.

Jesus liked his wine, Jacob likes his Xanax. When Jacob's words become the new religion, the devout will most likely receive Xanax during services like Catholics receive communion wafers during Mass.
u've been communized by him it seems imho, jacob is a according to inside sources tbh. jacob is a fine poster and never loses cool maybe he deserves such eulogy but the fact stands still
Man you
