Where there's smoke there's another le brewing...
"Everybody knows that Dwight Howard wants to be a Laker," said a person familiar with the All-Star center's plans, according to CBSSports.com. "They're going to lose Dwight Howard for nothing. He's not staying there.

D12 is a nice guy, if he's gonna go then he will make it clear first so they can trade him.
DMC just can't resist being trolled.
2011...keep in mind that there are no other legit rumors about Dwight joining other teams...He really wants to be in LA and we're going to accommodate him...
he will...he'll stay quiet for awhile then the pressure to reveal plans will be to great. I'd be willing to part with a Combo of Bynum / Artest or Bynum / Odom...we could then snag Tayshuan from Detriot...time for him to come home anyway...
I understand that, but it's not a headliner.
Do you want to talk about the possibilities of Dwight going to LA?
I think it's not unlikely. They attract big names.
I don't think Howard would make LA an instant championship team. There's a dynamic that has to be found with the existing players and that's not as easy as just adding a name (as Miami discovered).
You're an idiot.![]()
Unless he's going to take a very meager salary, he's never going to be a Laker. The only way is through sign and trade and unless they're giving up Bynum + Gasol, which LA won't, the Magic will laugh their asses off and hang up the phone
Imagine it's 2007 and we are discussing Gasol.
LAL would rather fix their PG situation, probably. Even though they drafted a promising PG and a great shooter, doubt they will use them.
They have Mike Brown at the table now and I don't know if Mike is going to go with the triangle. Like you said, he's probably going to want someone to give Kobe some rest and not lose a lead. Howard could hold it down but he's a huge piece and would really change the looks of the team.

He doesn't have to do these things, you know. D12 has shown huge support for pediatric care and children's education.
Maybe if you payed less attention to cartoons, salad tossing and male genitalia you would know this![]()
Ever had your ass licked and fingered while getting stroked off?
Dwight has the Player option in Orlando and the Lakers have the Team Option on Bynum at the exact same time...LA will throw in Artest or Odom to appease Orlando or else he walks for nothing to LA...next we exercise our option and let Bynum walk...Orlando is not stupid...they will make the deal rather than risk getting nothing in return especially off the heels of a new CBA...They can build around Bynum there's no other big out there...LA won't have to depart with Gasol...in keeping with Laker tradition we'll go after the Big because it is what will allow Kobe to still be Kobe...pounding the inside frees up the outside and vice versa...you can't do that if you focus on the PG position...it becomes a bottleneck..Kobe's won 5 les with no high profile point anyway so at this point it doesn't really matter.
He will....He will also make Gasol a better player...Gasol and Bynum are horrible together...it's mainly because Gasol doesn't respect Bynum's game ( neither do I)...if Pau is playing along side Dwight everything changes...Dwight will free Pau up to be Pau and Dwight will man the paint while Pau shoots those baseline and top of the key jumpers...and Kobe will still be Kobe....
the difference is that Pau and Dwight both know how to play with their backs to the basket and Kobe is one of the best in the low post...Miami didn't have that Dynamic...Bosh is not a great low post player and Lebron's low post game is literally non-existent...Wade carried then in the post...so it's different...
1. When I was a kid
2. Nah
3. When I was a kid
Unlike you, I grew up and don't think salad tossing is cool because "gangstas" in prison do it.
No, but I don't see what a belief has to do with growing up.
I do agree that Bynum and Gasol are do not work well together. They seem to occupy the same role when they are both on the floor.
There's no way Howard would change LA more than Bosh and James changed Miami. You still have the handicap of Brown as a coach, and in Cleveland, he only had to manage Lebron's ego. The rest were pretty much scrubs. Now he has to manage Kobe, Metta World Peace, Gasol, Bynum and whomever they acquire. Imagine trying to handle Kobe and Howard at the same time, with MWP falling down stairs every few weeks.
Eh, It's not as hard with Kobe being less egotistical these days. As long as Peace doesn't go crazy and Bynum doesn't start elbowing people in mid-air, should be fine.
Listen Kobe's been in the league 15 yrs he's trying to run down MJ and prove he can win without Phil he has a lot riding on team play...he's not 22 so he obviously can't rely solely on his marvelous talent...he will share for the sake of his legacy and he genuinely likes Dwight...Dwight just wants to be on the same stage as Kobe..he'll play any role....
Listen to this..Dwight talks about Kobe like he had an out of body religious near death experience or some ...
Start watching at the 2:35 mark...safe to say he wants to play with Kobe...
You scaring the lad Luva....he don't know about have that gooch and ass licked...and the hotter the chic the better it feels...it's hard to get black girls to do this though...that's all I will say...don't want it to go racial
