I think a grown man who makes $12.50 an hour isn't an accomplishment at all.
I think a man who judges another by how much money they make is a loser.
It may not be an accomplishment as many of us strive for, but at least the man's working. Give him that respect at least. I'll guess that unemployment pays about that. Maybe I'm wrong in assuming he actually works, and maybe he is collecting unemployment.
Point is, if someone is willing to work any job they can find, he deserves respect.
Unemployment comes from having once had a job. It's not charity.

Regardless of which crappy job it is, making 12 dollars an hour at your age nothing to brag about. If you are happy in life making that little and value your freedom to slack off all day above everything else then more power to you. Whatever makes you happy man, but it's nothing to brag about.
