Thread for topics not covered in the other threads and topics that probably don't deserve their own thread.

Did I just get hit by an infamous lefty one liner?
I jinx teams for free.
Son you should have just made an Official Costa Rica thread or some .
Other Sports is basically the General soccer forum.
It would have been me talking to myself, which isn't that different from this thread plus saying "lol Costa Rica" over and over in my thread would suck.
But sometimes I feel like mentioning something that doesn't belong to a particular thread. I'm just going to bump this thread to .
Like this for example, good to see Park Chu Young (Arsenal) score two goals for his South Korean team.I mean, I could say that in the EPL thread but eh...
lol professional athletes vs plumbers
The plumbers overachieved by not getting their skulls kicked in by Brazil but Brazil didn't look that great in the game. It was boring as too.
Is this the soccer's "forum" random thoughts thread? I should have just named it that.
I lol'ed at that plumbers comment btw.
Lol Rooney.
Overall, pretty poor second half by England.
Ronaldinho goal vs Mexico
Damn![]()
man i wonder how Stoke would do playing against other elite teams outside of EPL...they tend to give most of the top sides in the epl a draw or upset win on mos occassions, given that they have nobodies on their squad...
Stoke aren't nobodies, they've got a good squad and a great manager.
The Brittania is a fortress too, loudest fans in England.
Nice ass!
Figured this would be a good spot to put this too, since the EPL thread gets many posts and will for sure tomorrow:

Balotelli escapes bathroom fire
October 22, 2011
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has escaped unhurt after a firework went off in his bathroom.
Two fire engines were sent to the home of the Italy international in Mottram St Andrew, Macclesfield, in the early hours of Saturday morning after the alarm was raised.
They found a fire in the bathroom on the first floor of the detached property.
Four firefighters arrived wearing breathing apparatus and used two hose reel water jets to douse the flames, and a large fan was deployed to clear smoke.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews managed to put the fire out within half an hour of arriving but remained at the scene until 2.45am to prevent any possible flare-ups.
"Smoke alarms were fitted at the property and the occupiers were able to get out unharmed. The fire was caused by a firework.''
The cause of the blaze is being examined by fire investigators and police but is not being treated as su ious.
Carlos Tevez, the troublesome fellow that once divided Manchester, is now bringing City and United fans together as they have been invited to "trash" their Tevez shirts in a skip ahead of the derby this weekend.
Want-away Tevez, who quit United for rivals City in 2009, will miss Sunday's top-of-the-table clash following his alleged refusal to come off the bench against Bayern Munich and is public enemy No.1 with both sets of supporters.
The unhappy fans, of which over 75,000 are expected to descend on Old Trafford for the derby, will be encouraged to ditch their unwanted Tevez jerseys which will then be sent to charities in his native Argentina, where he is not yet a figure of hate, by bookmakers Betfair.
"Time and time again Tevez has let the fans down," said Betfair spokesman Alex Bake. "What better way for fed up supporters to show they want rid of him for good than by dumping their shirts. These two sets of supporters don't often see eye to eye, but I'm sure they'll all be pleased if he leaves Manchester in the January transfer window."
Anybody see the crazy ass video of a Romanian fan running on the field and taking a shot at a player?
