My attempt at easing the tension in the forum. Perhaps misguided, but what the heck.

As some of you may have heard, Tiger Woods was "assaulted" during his final round on Sunday by a man wielding a hot dog. There is no doubt in my mind that a message was hidden in this act.

Then I thought about the situation in its context: How PC was this act? I mean, he could have come at Tiger with any manner of objects which I'll leave to the imagination. The hot dog, though, is something which everyone can identify with. It's an American icon, one that's not likely to offend even when it's not used for it's intended purpose.

So what say you? Was this Tiger protester subconsiously hindered by a need to mitigate his socially unacceptable behavior? Could political correctness have played a part in his decision to whack away with a hot dog?
