    Knocking on the door: Not bad for a side kick that played with the real and greatest ball hog in NBA history - Shaq.

    Kobe Bryant: Bryant has averaged 25.3 points per game over his 15-year NBA career for a total of 27,868 points. Last season he averaged 25.0 / ppg. I don't think he'll get it next season but a season after next and Kobe will become the 5th player in history to score 30,000 points.

    ...well, he got 5-4 over Daddy done. And of course at default it's also 5-4 over the bag, though I don't think toppin' the bag was of any great import to Bryant.

    30,000 feet is actually over 5 miles. Gaining admission to "The Mile High Club" is generally agreed to require having sex in an airplane while it's flying, because you are having sex at an elevation of at least a mile above sea level. When Kobe makes love to his wife at home, it's at an elevation of 0, he does live at the beach IIRC.

    However, I can prove Kobe is a member of the Mile High Club because you don't have to be on a plane. It all depends where you are in the world. Just ask Katie Faber.....
