Um, what they needed was to win and basically end the series.
I happends all the time. The spurs thinks that the other teams are going to give up just because they are on court. I happend against denver, seattle, and phoenix. Now they have got the spurs really mad!!!!

Detroit and the refs had more to do with this than the Spurs not coming with the right at ude.
It happens.
This team doesn't have the tenacity to sweep a series. Period. Since the crazy-awesome '99 run, the Duncan Spurs have always needed a good reality check every few games in the playoffs to wake them up. I'm not worried. We'll win game 4, lose game 5, and I'm okay with that because we'll get to hoist the trophy on the home court.
