son I wouldn't have a problem with one of them being booted out, but I think one of them should stay. which one? well you could flip a coin. boot one of them out and let Texas A&M take their spot in the SEC West.
Growing up in Mississippi, it pains me to say this, but the two schools have had very little impact since expansion in 1992. Only one combined appearance in the SEC le game which was in 1998 and neither schools have been that compe ive except for a few seasons with Jackie Sherrill in the 90s for State and whenever Eli was at Ole Miss. In fact, neither of these two schools are probably the best in the state right now. I would bet on Southern Miss. I say demote both schools to the SWAC where they can establish real rivalries with Jackson St, Alcorn St., and Miss Valley St.

then boot Vanderbilt out of the East and let Missouri take their place. done deal
Gotta keep Vandy just to keep the GPA of the conference. Conferences do look at that. Kentucky would be a candidate but they're basketball program makes them somewhat important.
I say boot out MS ST. Academically they stink and they're even worse when it comes to football. Replace them with Texas A&M.
true.
and son Ole Piss is a better name too.
Ole Miss is more important than misstake in basically every aspect of everything. Plus with am coming, they're kinda redundant.
