After he jacked 2 tonight there was no benefit to just walking him. You might as well throw to him and see if you can figure anything out to gain an advantage for the next game.

Washington intentionally walked Miguel Cabrera with the bases empty, but he's pitching to Pujols? After that first homerun, I wouldn't have pitched to him the rest of the night.
My guess is that Washington feels like the rest of the Cardinals line-up, particularly Holliday and Berkman and Freese, will make them pay for not pitching to Albert. At least more so than the Tigers hitters behind Cabrera would.
I don't pitch to him the rest of the series.
