Northern Lights

Last night was the second time in my life I got to see the Northern Lights. So frickin cool.

Anyone else see them? They say folks as south as Arkansas could.

I've seen the pictures from all over the SE. Lots from Alabama and Georgia. Nothing out this far west, sadly.

I've seen both actually. I've been in Murmansk and Yekaterinburg for the Aurora borealis. The australis aurora I've seen from Cape Town.

I did a two week pack trip in northern British Columbia one time and slept outside right under them for two weeks straight. It was an absolutely amazing light show. Waves of shimmering rainbow colors from horizon to horizon.
