they actually rank ahead of hte US in GDP PER CAPITA depending on who you ask..
But they only have 22 million people and a load of natural resources, so their per capita GDP is bound to be higher. Lot of wealth to spread around.
I won't hate too much on Australia, though. Quite impressive for a country to achieve first world economic status when their population is primarily composed of drunks and kangaroo rapers.
Also worth noting is that their main industry is mining. So when they get done pillaging the earth, we'll see if Australia is intelligent enough (unlikely) to actually produce and invent rather than just dig it out of the ground.

It (Freedom) is a might fleeting, hit & miss, under duress here as well, D. I can carry an Uzi here to the Circle K. I try that in NYC and I'll do life in an urn, or, a five year behind the walls, just like that.
The Uzi is a class 3 weapon, so unless you are a dealer or a police officer or it's a transferable one, you probably cannot legally carry it. If you mean a semi-auto version of the Uzi, sure.
