No clue
My secretary just said she had to take off to pay her "Holy Debt Obligation" since she didn't go to mass this morning...
WTF is THAT?
If she is catholic, I can ask my dad (he is going through a Deaconic program), though I would bet my unholy money that it is a "funny" slang that she is using.
Trust me, my secretary doesn't do funny...and yeah, she is catholic.
Ok, before I ask my dad, I would assume it has something to do with hing.
Ok, clarification: "Holy Day Obligation" Today is one of them (all souls day). Just a day you are supposed to go to church I think. I am awaiting more info.
Sounds like an excuse to get out of work to me.
today is all saints day, so maybe it has something to do with that.
but i have never heard of anything like that.
hmmm....yeah, I guess she could have said Holy Day Obligation and not Holy Debt Obligation. She kind of mumbled it.
All Saints Day, November 1 IS a holy day.
All Souls Day is tomorrow, November 2. It is NOT a Holy day.
you are right, I miscopied the text
