The only way Malik wouldve helped last night is if he wouldve kicked Ben in the nuts. He wouldve gotten run over just like everybody else. It was a great game by Detroit, and a piss poor effort by the Spurs. Well except quarters 1,2. Then they were just dominated

Along with George Gervin, DRob, Artis Gilmore, etc.

Look peple we lost ONE GAME....next game will be different....Timmy will show up with an MVP-like game and Manu will have more than 7 points.

We were close on the board 42-37 and free throws.

    TO"s killed us....along with effort.

The way the game started with the TO by Manu, I am happy in a way thet we were close in the 4th

San Antonio would have swept if they had Malik Rose.

With Malik, the Spurs could have made that turnover number a smooth, even 20.

Malik would have had even worse foul trouble than Nazr.

Sorry for all the Malik fans but, if a 6'4 Malik Rose was part of the roster he would have got a DNP. If he did get in Big Ben would have had 10 blocks and we would have lost by more.

It was a good trade, but the Spurs managed to find the one player in the league with worse hands than Malik.

Malik would have got used. He never has had good games against either Rasheed and Ben Wallace. The Spurs did what they do best at times: they play the other side of Spurs basketball…they played like .

Detroit is good but they ain't that stellar offensively.

The only damn near 7 footer that I know of, that can have a ball high above his head and still get blocked.

Nazr can be a frusterating player sometimes.

Agreed!! NAZR should be a bit more agressive, and take the ball to the hole. Also ne needs to stop trying to dribble through traffic , or move his damn feet so much.

Yea i'll admit Nazr is "good". And has delivered. But Malik did play on this years team so he did in fact contribute to the road to the finals a little. He will always be part of the 2004-2005 Spurs regular season team on the books.. just not the playoffs of course.

The real test will be next season, the positive environment and the experience of going to the finals is going make a huge impact on his desire to stay with the team. He's been to a few teams and now knows that he is on a top tier team that is always going to be a contender for the le and from the interviews i've seen the man is intelligent. Next year he'll show us what he really has to offer this team.

rasho note: I kept defending him, but I've given up.

Oh, until I got to the final sentence I was sure you were talking about Tim Duncan. He's had several blocked this series and finally admitted today he was to blame for not faking or going in to the basket with authority.
