Bonner is a regular season dude. He gets all his stats this time of year. He has no reason to drag it out.
Bonner will keep this lockout going as long as he has to...he won't allow himself to be embarrassed on the court any longer.

• Longer the lockout goes, less time Bonner spends on the court in practice/games
• Less time Bonner spends on the court, more time he can spend in sandwich shops
• More time he can spend in sandwich shops, more sandwiches Bonner can consume
That's a pretty strong motivation for him to keep the lockout going tbqh
