He's calling the UTSA game tonight on 92.5 FM.

Jay is a phenomenal play-by-play guy; easily the best in franchise history. Him not calling games for an NBA team is a travesty even with his enormous ego factored in.
Sounds pretty mellow, I guess cancer can do that. Butchering some names, but still quality stuff.
Jay is a very talented play-by play man. Hope to see Schoening back in the saddle soon as well.
Wow, I didn't know about that. Sucks to hear.
They mentioned it here but didn't elaborate.

Not one of those was even close to being funny mouse...
I'd like to hear his call after the 1999 le was sealed. Something along the lines of "Pride of Lone Star state are NBA champs!".
I still can't get Jay's Memorial Day Miracle call out of my head. "BAAAAAAAANG" like he had just came or something. Horrifying.
Jay made the classic employee mistake: he thought he was more valuable to his employer than he really was. The Spurs treated him no different than their garden variety number 10-15 roster player...they made him an offer, and didn't come off it. When Jay attempted to negotiate, he essentially fired himself.
Maybe I change that.........post your photo..![]()
