Why are they fools?
As the weekend started, the Occupy Portland crowd was given till 12:01 AM Sunday morning to leave Chapman Square and Lownsdale Square. The protesters who were going to resist waited all night, staying awake, as the police just came by on occasion. Then around noon Sunday, they came in and arrested the remaining protesters who wouldn't leave and were too tired to resist.
Stupid idiots not following authority's arbitrarily designed deadlines!
If they were smart they'd have put meek submission to police power over their principles.
Civil disobedience? More like civil miscreants. AmIRight?
More like "u mad"? Lawl.
So they are more en led to that public land than the 99% of the community who do not get to use it's facilities? What principles are they upholding btw? honest question. I still want to know what they are wanting to get done.
They dont know
That is one of my major beefs I have with these idiots. They are accomplishing nothing. They dont even know what to accomplish.A bunch of dirty nasty hippies.
These 'idiots' were once our fore-fathers......loyalist whip...
If you read the other email forwards you get your opinions from, you'd realize they're all a bunch of lazy, stinky bums looking for handouts.
In today's news, Portland workers already filled 18 dumpsters from the two city block parks, and were still cleaning up. The grass is destroyed, estimated costs... who knows.
So tax dollars will be used to actually create work, instead of funding bonuses and golden parachutes. Oh darn.
No, they will have to cut money elsewhere in the city budget. Money doesn't come out of thin air, and local government can't print it.
Yep, probably have less money for street crews to fix roads.
Crowded parks are not a restriction of anyone else's liberty. That's life -- sometimes the park is crowded. It doesn't matter. There's no threshold for coherence or content regarding free expression. Whether you get what they are saying or consider it worthwhile is completely beside the point.
Are you referencing Solyndra?
I'm referencing the bailouts.
So then where is the occupy freddy and fanny
Is this another talking point you got from some conservative blog or email forward? What makes you think the Occupy movement isn't upset about Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae? Do they need to have a separate protest for every specific company whose executives benefited from the bailouts?
And there you go.
