what the ? I know policemen are known to eat donuts and have a belly but this is getting out of control. Just drove by a motorcycle police man, the mother er was bigger than his motorcycle. He looked like the governor of New Jersey's fatter brother. WTF?

It "should" be very easy for police and fireman managers to impose annual physicals, including run a mile in max minutes, number of pushups, number of situps, etc and body fat %age limits, or lose your job. But that would be impinging on their "freedom" to be decrepit greasebag slobs.
The police department only requires a physical test when you apply, afterwards you can retake the physical test and if you don't pass go on probation and maybe lose your job or you can watch a video and be done with it.
What would you do?

I have no place in my world for fat police(wo)men. If it were up to me, certain stringent physical standards would be in place to keep their jobs.
But then I would also be extra harsh on police who commit crimes.
Ronnie Coleman, certainly not fat, but how can he do his job at compe ion size? The dude can barely move at that size.
Bet he could put a hurt on you if he grabbed you, but I doubt he does that kind of police work.

The term "pig" when referring to police, is nothing new. At least about 1988, the military saw fit to start weeding out those who didn't keep their fat content under control. You would think that all public services that require a fit individual would as well.

being 30-50 pounds overweight is considered "normal". BigFood loves it. It costs real money to get and stay that fat.

Police should be required to maintain an acceptable fitness standard. Pigs should be let go.
It's disgusting, but I am much more offended by stupid policemen or those with a vendetta or agenda than by fat ones.
When my child was in HS, I was on the PTSA board for several years & during that time I saw that here in Comal County, we have law enforcement that appears to be much more concerned with arresting and charging teens & the mentally ill for things that would be nothing more than a warning or a ticket in San Antonio. Whereas we have a huge number of home invasions being committed by groups of adults, drug labs being run by adults which never seems to get any attention.
So I would much rather see some fat cops than more teens arrested for drinking a beer at a party or the mentally ill arrested rather than treated when they have an episode.

There is one officer in our department who is bigger muscle wise than most of the Ravens players. He was on the field working the game a few years back and he towered over Ray Lewis and a few other players when it came to overall muscle. He wasn't insanely cut up like this guy but I bet he wouldn't have had a problem handling a few of those Ravens players by himself.
Unless he had to chase one down. That's my point. Most struggles end up on the ground, and guys that big (I wouldn't with him tbh) probably don't move well on the ground.
I wouldn't want to find out though.
They are held to an acceptable standard. It's just not acceptable to us.
This country has gone ing gay. Don't make fun of someones weight or you'll get sued -- don't fire them because they're fat and lazy you'll get sued.
