Man its been awhile since i've had a good rye, thanks for the reminder. Looks like i'm hittin up the likka sto' after work tomorrow.
Coming back in a pretty big way. I am really liking Bulleit's Rye, which Spec's has for $23 a Liter. Beats the outta bourbon imo, cheaper than single malts.

Good .
Well, maybe. I'm not actually enough of a snob about rye to know where this ranks, but it's damn tasty. And if you're a mixer (which I know can be sacrilege), the iness of rye is especially good with ginger ale.
Curious about this stuff. I love beer -- it's consistently been my go-to, but I'd like to mix it up occasionally. I've been routinely unimpressed or simply unable to enjoy hard liquor, but I'm always on the look out.
CF's suggestion looks tempting.
I usually just add an ice cube, sometimes a few drops of Angostura Bitters, or make an old fashioned.
Nothing like a nice fat rueben on rye sammich.

Just got home and opened up the Bulleit Rye. 95% rye which is way more than any other rye whiskey I've had. I really like it so far.
After seeing it on Breaking Bad and searching for months, I finally got my hands on some Whistlepig. It's amazing. Definitely the best rye I've ever had, maybe the best whisky I've ever had period.

I just picked up some of this in SLC this weekend, pretty good:
