Be squeaky in' clean...from your birth until the day you decide that your sick ambition is too strong to deny and decide to run for any office....

Be squeaky clean in everything you do and make sure your closet is empty.

This would rule out 100% of every one running for anything....

So why would anyone here still invest all their time debating and following these idiots and thinking that in some way their allegiances/opinions/votes/debates/...

will ever matter.

Why do you guys still invest your lives?

Because Americans (in particular) like to believe their elected leadership is better than themselves. We as a political citizenry cannot fathom our leaders being something else besides one step short of a Deity.

Its the inherent flaw in being brainwashed into thinking youre better than everyone else simply because you were born in a particular area of a particular continent.

Here is something that I've known for awhile which never ceases to amaze;

People prefer to be lied to.

Give them someone who is straightforward...maybe even halfway honest...they will reject him/her immediately. Won't stand a chance in any race.

Give him a sly, evil, salesman with an evil agenda who talks all kinds of garbage....SOLD! This guy/gal will go far...be considered attractive, successful, a winner, charismatic,etc....

Go figure.
