Does anyone here listen to her? I think she's absolutely genius. Most of her work seems like it would appeal to the people in here who like country, and she's much better than anyone like Toby Keith or The Dixie Chicks.

Im a sellout I guess, Im a Toby Keith fan, and love pretty much anything that comes on the radio.
I do wish though that country could try to stick to its roots a little more and keep the steel guitar fiddle and twang in it a little.
guys like Blake Shelton, Braid Paisley, seem to do that.

You should check Patty Griffin out if you like the more classic kind of country - kind of like Johnny Cash, she also incorporates some gospel roots in her stuff, especially in her most recent album. 1000 Kisses is still my favorite album by her though. Her work isn't a big production, though, so don't expect that. It's real songwriting at its best.

I wore that CD out that spring/summer.
Loved that stuff, made me a huge Incubus fan.
Their follow up album was OK.
