The Angels had a great pitching rotation with a ty lineup. They placed Pujols in a ty lineup and Wilson in a great rotation. The Rangers on the other hand had a great lineup with a good pitching rotation. Now, with Wilson gone the Rangers rotation has been downgraded to decent/good (depending what Feliz does), but its all good. Daniels will go strong after Yu Darish and maybe workout a trade for SP to even things out. Remember its the Angels who are trying to catch up with the Rangers, not the other way around. The Pujuls and Wilson signing may have done that (that remains to be seen), but the Rangers are still the team to beat in the American League. Nothing the Angels have done so far change that.
I'd like to think Darvish, if Texas gets him, will be the gamechanger everyone thinks he'll be.....but then I remember Daisuke, Nomo, Irabu, Chan Ho, and the fact that every other highly touted pitcher has been either extremely disappointing or a complete failure in the big leagues.

Why are no teams in discussions to trade for Matt Garza? Maybe Chicago wants a king's ransom for him, but he's worth it. His numbers in a hitters park last year were very good, in a division with two dynamic offenses (Brewers/Cardinals) and he's got lots of playoff race experience.
Rays sold high on him, and he posted an an even better year this past season.

If he doesn't pan out, the Rangers still have what should be a very good rotation of Lewis, Holland, Harrison, Ogando, and Feliz.
At least Darvish is half Iranian. So he's at least 50% not bust-likely Jap.
Its obvious Darvish is going to the Royals to fill the final piece of a frontline starter. With the offense and bullpen set, Darvish will put the Royals over the top. AL Central is ed.
