This thread is low class and totally uncalled for, and I apoloogize to all Spurs fans here for posting this garbage. I've always been a huge Tony Parker fan, and I will continue to be. I was really frustrated with how badly he played tonight and how bad the team looked, and I said some really stupid things.
I don't for a second regret having him over Kidd, and win or lose I'm going to be a Parker fan. It frustrates the out of me after seeing things like his 19 point third quarter in Dallas in game 4 of 2003, the 19 he stuck on Bibby and Jackson in the first quarter in 2003, the way he abused Payton as a rookie in the playoffs, the 20 points he dropped on the Lakers in the first half of game 3 of 2002, the way he outplayed Kidd in most of the Finals in 2003, etc. but Tony is one of the main reasons this team is this good, and they win because of him and not in spite of him. He's not Hedo Turkoglu or Steve Smith, who just looked like they were never trying when times got tough.
This series is where I thought it was going to be after 4 games, 2-2, coming off a Detroit win. I never thought the homecourt would mean this much, and these last two losses have been ugly as but the Spurs are still in great position to take this thing.
