It won us a championship in 2007 and seems to have been lost. The shot I am talking about is the 18 footer flexed a bit outside the circle that he takes when teams go under on screen and rolls.

He used to shoot a very high percentage but he seems to have abandoned it to a large extent and rely on his quickness to try and get in the paint. Memphis dared him to make it and he barely shot it.

Hopefully, its back because that goes a long way towards making him dominant in a game from an offensive standpoint.

In international play he is just going to be that much more athletic relative compared to the compe ion so I fear no progress myself.

I haven't seen him play since last summer though.

A simple thing like a jumpshot can open up a player/point guards entire game. If Parker had it, then we wouldn't need Bonner to play 25mins a game and also wouldn't need RJ to transform his entire game.

Last season he was hitting the jumper at a good rate. It completely disappeared in the playoffs though. That is why I don't blame RJ, Bonner, Popovich for the first round loss. If Parker was hitting the jumper, not only does HE become unguardable, it makes the rest of the Spurs unguardable.

Tony's jumpshot has NEVER been dependable. Ever. I'm not saying he hasn't had good games shooting the ball, I'm saying that when it has mattered most, he misses. Big game ? Don't count on Parker, he doesn't show up. Tim is guilty of the same in the last few years.
