So I bought my mom a kindle fire for xmas. She's not into ipod/mp3 player stuff. She doesn't even own one. But I wanted to put some music on the kindle for her. Nothing major. Just a few dozen songs or so. Anyone know how I can just take songs from my itunes and transfer them over to the kindle?

DRM mp3s can only be played by Apple products apparently. So if it has DRM, you have to remove it someway or another.

According to other people who are doing this, compatible music can be uploaded to the Amazon Cloud and then sent to the Kindle Fire.

Kind of weird you have to use Amazon Cloud as a middleman though. Hopefully someone has a better answer here.
