By "White Mexican" do you mean Tex-Mex, or a restaurant where the hottest thing in the salsa is a tomato?
Any one eaten there? Is it "white mexican" type food or authentic? I'm going to a birthday party there and I was just wondering if the food was good or at least o.k.

Methinks OP just wanted an excuse to use that term.
mediocre, imo.
As soon as Perico's opens their Huebner/I-10 location, my guess is that Matamoros won't last much longer.
I haven't to that area in awhile... where are they going? The old Champps?
Everytime I see "matamoros" i always instantly think of those UT college kids that went there and got sacrificed. I think they were sacrificed. I know they got jacked.
White?? Do you mean honkey?
Yeah, I don't remember the specifics, but it was a killing field. Lots of DBs.
The website only says "Huebner location", but it seems to me someone at the restaurant told me Huebner/I-10.
That old Champps might be as a good as spot as any if they remodel a bit.
Yeah it's the old Champps. I wish that place was still open, it was a little pricey but I loved the atmosphere.
worst "tex-mex" in town, hands down. place is disgusting with horrible service.
I know someone that goes there often. Never been there personally, but whenever I go by there it's usually pretty busy.
Yeah that's what I think of too. Also not really smart to name a restaurant after a word which means "Moor killer" but perhaps it's just an unfortunate family name.
