I'm sure if he did, it would just be to try to light a fire under the FO's ass again since it worked last time, but still...so much for tough getting going when the going gets tough.
Jordan never would've pulled this .

lol lakersKobe Bryant is livid with the Lakers, and he may demand a trade, Stephen A. Smith said Thursday.
Appearing on SportsCenter, Smith said “I predicted that Kobe Bryant will demand a trade, and I am not budging from that. He’s livid. I’ve known Kobe too long. He is ticked off.
“It’s not just because [the Clippers] got Chris Paul, which is a guy that he expected to have. It’s because Jim Buss seems to be doing the inexplicable,” Smith said. “It makes no sense. It’s one thing for the team not to have improved [after losing to the Mavericks], it’s another thing entirely for them to regress. If you know anything about Kobe, that is the last thing that he wants to do.
“It will not be pleasant at all.”
Reporter Ric Bucher said he would not be surprised if Kobe demands a trade. He added that a GM figured Kobe would demand a trade within a month.

i hear he's going to demand a trade to the mavs.
lol frontrunner
If this is true what a loser. I guess having Pau & Bynum & Artest isn't enough. My goodness.
No. Jordan just quit for a year then tried to sneak back in time to rob a ring in the second year.
what will all those frontrunning laker fans do if this happens?
Hey we'll take Kobe for a first round pick if you want. lol
IMO, this whole thing is an incredibly savvy business move by Buss.
He's facing paying $90m for a tired old bag, including $30 million on the first season where the lux tax actually bites.
The best thing that can happen to him is that Kobe demands a trade. That way he would be waiving his no-trade clause and he can dump that stupid contract.
I'm a trend setter.
I set trends.
In that scenario, signing Mike Brown makes a lot of sense, tbh
Bend over. I'll show you what a trend setter does.
Kobe's stupid contract will be the death of them
He's never gotten over wasting his prime's prime suffering Smush, Meds, and Brown.
Stephen A Smith made the same prediction
I doubt it happens
Would be funny as if it did tho
Kobe aka glorified role player
Shaq held his hand and Lakers won
Shaq let go of his hand and he the bed and cried
Gasol held his hand and Lakers won
Now he the bed and crying again for Dirk to hold his hand
Cept Gasol could never win a single playoff game till Kobe took him in.
Kobe won 2 without Daddy. Daddy only won 1 without Kobe.
The other question is...would anyone take him? He's clearly not the player he used to be and 80 million plus over three seasons is a lot of cash for any player...and even steeper for a player that is only going to decline.
And that's why it won't happen. Kobe will get over it, he has no choice.
^Just checkin' assholes.
He made Buss live up to his heritage once.
Kobe like myself abide Davy Crockett's timeless bromide:::"Make sure you're right. Then go ahead."
