    ...who will start alongside him?

    Splitter or Blair........or Bonner?

Pop has to see, after seeing what Splitter is capable of, that starting Splitter is the more rational choice.

If Splitter isn't the starter once the season starts. I quit being a Spurs fan and will of lost all hope.

There's no reason for him not to get 30+ minutes.

Yeah if it isnt Tiago ill be pretty ing disheartened.. especially after Pop has been emphasising improving the defense. It will be interesting to see if he really means that.. or is just saying it. Its hard to what goes through his mind these days.

Tiago is by far the best bigman on the team outside of Duncan. That being said, Bonner and Blair coming in together as the 2nd unit would be ing horrible.

Can't believe we haven't gotten another big man.

He won't start. He won't even be the first big man off the bench.

I think Duncan will start with Blair and Tiago comes off the bench. Pop knows Tiago is the 2nd best big on the team and will treat him this way in the season as long as Tiago stays healthy and keeps himself out of foul trouble. 25 MPG at least ...

Lets have Splitter, Bonner, Leonard, Anderson and Ford/Joseph as the second unit ... that does not look so bad. Blair and Bonner together does not work.

Wow, in that one sentence you have killed all my desire for Tiago to start. RC should get on his hands and knees and beg Dice to come back.

not sure i want Splitter starting see how that would mean we would see a bonner-blair second unit frontcourt. last year it made sense. this year, without dice, not so much. it's shameful that bonner and blair are our 3rd and 4th bigs. bonner and blair is by far the worst frontcourt (d)uo in the entire league. honestly i don't think it can get an worse.

If the squad currently stays intact. I would probably start Duncan and Blair and bring Tiago off the bench with Bonner. Even with this lineup Tiago and Duncan should still get the majority of the minutes on the court. Just makes it a little easier to put a solid front court on the floor without having to put Blair and Bonner out there at the same time.

That being said you still have to play Duncan and Splitter together as much as possible to gel, as they should definitely be the two bigmen who close the game out in the 4th quarter.

I'd like to see Tiago and TD but that will lead to the Blair/Bonner off the bench

He's way too old to get into such a position. That would put him in a lot of pain. Probably more than enough pain. RC should make Holt get into that position. It's his sandwich.

    Splitter has to start.

You can sit him early .And he can play 30mpg.He must play 30 mpg. He's young enough and he's ready. Not to mention he's our best big man by far outside TD

There is no reason to sit TD or Splitter at the same time. Same we did last year with Manu and Tony. Same Lakers use to do with Bynum/Pau

    Start TD - Splitter
    bench Splitter TD - Blair/Bonner
    bench TD Splitter - Blair/Bonner
    bench Blair Splitter - TD

Surely our rotation of bigs is short but if TD can stay healthy we have one of the best duos of the league in Duncan/Splitter..

just seeing bonner in the lineup makes me cringe.....looks like we are lottery bound
