Houston Spur...![]()
I hope it's a good game. We can't afford Martin to start 0-9 again.
BRB, starting a Scola thread.

Usually that kind of stuff (Scola) works out for you fellows.
^He's got nice teeth.
I would like to advertise my business by sponsoring this thread, its name is: "We won a championhsip six month ago and now we suck"
PM me if you're interested, thanks.
I think the most frustrating thing about Scola is that he's exactly what Spurs fans imagined he would be...maybe even better....but he's doing it all for a rival team.
Ginobili and Parker were such diamonds in the rough, and were so early in the Spurs "scouting brilliance", that I'm pretty sure nobody imagined how high their stock would rise. After them, however, it almost became expected that any foreign player that the Spurs nabbed would rise to All-Star levels....
After we drafted Scola, many Spurs fans (myself included) saw what he was able to do for Argentina and overseas, and were highly excited to see if he could translate that to the NBA. That ensued with a two-to-three year waiting game that ultimately ended with one of the worst transactions in Spurs history, if not the worst, all to salary dump another player who turned out to be a bust.
In the meantime, we've had similar hopes for players like Sandizke, Gist, James White!, Mahinmi, and now currently Splitter, and none have panned out nearly to the extent that Scola did (Splitter looks great defensively so far this season, but is still no Scola). Meanwhile, we get 3-4 chances each season to see what could've been the Spurs missing piece up close, ting all over us.
Scola Thread!
I predicting a 25/13 line from Scola tonight.
Usually plays pretty damn good versus the Spurs.
Only pussies & assholes use the B2B excuse.
Agreed. Worst Spurs FO move of all time.
The tired old bag Duncan is 1-8.
