Dude that sucks
They had a water line break in my neighborhood yesterday afternoon and I guess they were in such a hurry to go home for New Years they didn't take the time to clean the dirt/gravel/ out the water line before they turned it back on...
i've been cleaning crap out of my faucets and shower heads all morning and even had to take apart two toilet valves and clean them too...they were totally plugged up...
ers...I can't IMAGINE how pissed I would be if I didn't know how to do this stuff myself and had to hire a plumber...

Why would you hire a plumber?
Can't you call and complain ? or demand they fix it?
Yeah, I would call them and demand they fix it or compensate you.
LOL...just try it...they will politely tell you that anything on your side of the meter is your problem...
well....it just got worse

Not if it's water quality issues stemming from work they've done.
